Our staff is highly qualified, with over 68% having 5-year or advanced university degrees and 19% having 3-year degrees. 13% of the staff is administrative.

In terms of quality, Hisdesat has had an ISO 9001 Quality Management System since 2008. This system is certified by AENOR and is recognized both in Spain and abroad.

In addition to our in-house staff, Hisdesat indirectly employs more than 30 other individuals, including operators and maintenance personnel at the satellite control stations in Arganda (Madrid) and Maspalomas (Gran Canaria).
An equivalent number of employees work for the joint venture Xtar LLC at the control stations in Ottawa (Canada) and Mount Jackson (Virginia, USA).
