On 13 May Hisdesat attended the round table
discussion “Maritime Security in H2020: Tech-
nological Challenges”, organized within the fra-
mework of the Third Day of the Indra-University
of Alcala “Chair for Information Technology and
Communications, Security and Defence”. Victo-
riano Moreno, as expert in Earth Observation,
Business Development and Sales, presented the
vision of the company at that event.
The Fifth International Exhibition of Technology
for Defence and Disaster Prevention (SITDEF
Peru), held from 14 to 17 May, also featured a Spa-
nish Pavilion in which Hisdesat was present with
an information stand that was vi-
sited by various authorities of the Peruvian army, the Spanish
ambassador in Peru, the Director General of Armaments, Lieu-
tenant General Juan Manuel Garcia Montano, and General Luis
Manuel Lopez, Head of the Foreign Support Office (OFICAEX) of
the Spanish Ministry of Defence. In addition, the CEO of the com-
pany, Miguel Angel Panduro, presented a lecture on “The Inno-
vative Spanish Delivery Model for Government Satellite Services
“, which was attended by important representatives from Latin
American, North American and European armed forces.
