4.5 Management and control of
communications payload The satisfactory
provision of services at national and international level, the
continual and regular presentation of proposals to both existing and
potential clients and the evaluation of new satellite communication
services, have been the three fundamental cornerstones of
Hisdesat’s strategy during this financial year, always with the
objective of providing a better quality service to clients.
Within the context of our country, Hisdesat continues
to provide normal secure communication services to
the Ministry of Defence, favouring and simplifying a
large part of the actions carried out by our Armed
Forces in the fulfilment of their peacekeeping mis-
sions. We also extended coverage with the Estado
Mayor de la Defensa (EMAD), services continue to
be provided to the National Intelligence Centre (CNI),
the Civil Guard and to the Spanish National Research
Council (CSIC), in the field of scientific activities
(oceanographic vessel Hespérides) and the Generali-
tat of Valencia.
