5.1 The satellite communication
system The consolidation of Hisdesat as one of the
principal worldwide suppliers of secure communication services
by satellite, on the military K and Ka bands, for governmental
applications, is now a reality with its range of satellite
communication systems.
The aforementioned system has as its objective to
provide communication services for applications of a
governmental nature, both civilian and military. It con-
sists of the following systems:
SpainSat. Located at 30º West, it provides
