SHAREHOLDING

Since its creation, Hisdesat has stood out for being a company of great strategic
value to the Spanish government. In recent years, the intense pace of its activity
and its highly-developed programmes have resulted in the generation of significant
technological benefits for the national aerospace sector

The shareholders are the satellite communications operator Hispasat (43%), IS-
DEFE, the public company belonging to the Ministry of Defence (30%), AIRBUS,
Defence & Space (15%), INDRA (7%) and SENER (5%).

The shareholder model relies on the joint use of public and private capital to provide
strategic services on the basis of efficiency and excellence.
