Chief Executive Officer

MS. Ana María Molina

Holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Higher Technical School of Telecommunications Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, a Master’s degree in National Defence from Rey Juan Carlos University, and has received management training at IESE and ESADE and corporate governance training at Sagardoy Business and Law School. She has been CEO of Hisdesat since December 2025.

In her early career, she worked in Hispasat as an R&D project engineer, participating in the development and implementation of digital satellite TV in Europe and advanced services. From there, she progressed to become Commercial and Services Director in 2004. Then she moved to Isdefe, where she began her involvement in the world of defence as Director of Business Development, a company she remained with until 2012 when she moved to the Ministry of Defence as Director of the Office of the Secretary of State for Defence.

In 2017, she returned to the space sector as Director of Strategy and Institutional Relations at Hisdesat, a government satellite services operator. In November 2019, she returned to Hispasat as Director of Strategy and Transformation, a position she held until 2023, when she was appointed Corporate Managing Director with responsibilities including Strategy and Corporate Development, Technology (IT), Innovation, Human Resources, Security and Sustainability.

Ana María participates in the governing bodies of TEDAE, Fundación Círculo, and is a member of the Advisory Council of the Official Association of Telecommunications Engineers.

Ana received the Medal of Military Merit in 2015 and of Naval Merit in 2011.
